Housing
Along with Louisville Metro Housing and Family Services,
House of Ruth began providing housing services in the
late 1990s. Today, In addition to Glade House, a communal
living residence for ten single individuals, House of
Ruth owns seventeen scattered-site permanent housing rental
units. House of Ruth also participates in two Housing
and Urban Development funded collaborative leasing grants
that provide four additional one-bedroom rental units
in the community. The housing programs give approximately
eighty clients the opportunity for safe, affordable housing
through subsidized rent and intense case management.
